6th Day Making A Difference

Today I made a difference by helping my Grandma with the computer. She doesn't know much about computers so I taught her some important things like how to use her e-mail and using other programs. I felt happy to teach her those skills because she wants to get better at computers and I helped her do that. She was also happy because she was stuck before I came and helped her.

5th Day Making A Difference

Today I made a difference by helping my Dad do chores and start up dinner. I didn't have anything else to do so I thought I should help him out when he needs help. I was happy that I did this because then he didn't have to do as much work and we could get dinner ready sooner. I'm sure my Dad was pleased to because he didn't have to do all the work.

4th Day Making A Difference

Today me, my friend and his brother went down to the dairy to get some drinks but they didn't have enough money to buy anything for themselves. I had a lot of money so I got them a drink each. I knew that they were happy because it was very hot so they needed a drink and they thanked me. I felt good to help them because it would be selfish getting something on my own and not sharing my money.

3rd Day Making A Difference

Today I made a difference by helping my Dad putting up his new curtain in his bedroom. I think he was both surprised and happy that I did this for him because he didn't expect me to do it as he didn't ask me and he didn't have to do the work that I did for him. I felt good to do that job for my Dad so he didn't have to do it himself.

2nd Day Making A Difference

Today I made a difference by taking in the recycling bin for my Grandma, setting up dinner for Dad and then packing it up. I knew both of them were happy because they were busy and didn't have time to do those jobs so they thanked me. I felt good and happy that I helped with those jobs because it is one less thing for them to worry about.

1st Day Making A Difference

Today I made a difference by taking out all the rubbish bags full of garden waste to the end of my Grandma's lawn. I could tell my Grandma was happy because she thanked me and gave me chocolate cake. I also felt good about my self because I helped her when she needed help and she was very happy.
